SayIntentions, a flight simulator software focused on immersion, with features such as AI ATC, Copilot, and Cabin Crews, has recently announced through its Discord server its new Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) feature and wildfires.

Temporary Flight Restrictions

Fully supported in the United States, the new function will allow the pilot to ask ATC about nearby TFRs, such as fires, space operations, VIP movement, among others. Given that ATC is now fully aware of them, if the pilot violates a TFR, he or she will receive a pilot deviation phone number and instructions to exit.

Wildfire Operations TFRs

Given that most TFRs are for wildfire operations, SayIntentions has used the TFR data to add those wildfires to the simulator, meaning that they will be visible to the eye in the distance. The pilot can, of course, fly over them, but at the cost of receiving a pilot deviation phone number from ATC for doing so.

Closing Notes

SayIntentions is currently looking for a reliable data source for Canada and Europe, given that this new feature is only available in the United States as of now. Additionally, the developer notes that the fires are not available in X-Plane yet, but everything else is. SayIntentions has published a video explaining the new feature, which can be watched here.
