In a post on the X-Plane.org forums. Thranda has announced that they are working on their own rendition of the Cessna 208 Caravan. The developer was already involved in a Cessna Grand Caravan project 10 years ago.
Once released, the aircraft will feature all of the “Dynamic Generation Series by Thranda Design” functionalities such as dynamic liveries, dynamic panels, dynamic dirt controls, DynaFeel flight dynamics enhancement, and it will also be dynamically configurable for cargo, passenger, and executive version.
All those features are changeable without reloading the aircraft. It will also feature high-resolution textures and well-modelled systems. The aircraft will be released in two variants: the C208 Caravan 675 and the C208B Grand Caravan.
On the previews, we can see the amount of details throughout the exterior model as well as some first texture implementations. Unfortunately, the developer hasn’t shared any previews of the cockpit and the cabin.
The release date and the price haven’t been announced yet.
Thranda Design is a developer responsible for many great study level add-ons for X-Plane such as the PC-6. They are also behind Justflight’s rendition of the BAe 146 for the same platform.
