TriTriSim, a Microsoft Flight Simulator developer focused on realism add-ons, has recently released its newest product, “GFX Airliner.” It is set to become the foundation for all its upcoming addons, according to the developer, bringing authentic, physics-driven effects to the simulator.

True-to-Life Visuals

The addon brings to the simulator a variety of effects, all built from scratch, such as engine cold start vapour/smoke, thrust-on-rain effects, water trails, vortices, engine/wing condensation, and contrails, among others. So far, it is ready to use for many airliners, including well-known developers such as Fenix, FlyByWire, PMDG, iniBuilds, TFDi Design, ToLiss, and iFly, among others.

“Negligible Performance Hit”

TriTriSim has stated its newest product has a very minimal effect on the simulator’s performance, showing a maximum drop of 1 frame per second (fps) in tests. The developer furthermore explains, “GFX integrates natively with the simulator to process real-time telemetry instantly. This ensures that even with all effects active, the performance footprint remains strictly under 5%.”
