WF Scenery Studio has a few hours ago taken to their official Facebook Page to share the first proper set of previews showcasing the upcoming rendition of Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD) for Prepar3D.
It is important not to confuse Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD) with Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (ZSSS) which already has its scenery for the platform from WF Scenery Studio and can be purchased through SimMarket for approximately €25.50.
Unfortunately, no information was given on the release date, pricing model, or features of the upcoming scenery in today’s post. It only said: “Some previews of Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD).“.
The screenshots are showcasing generally the airport area as well as the terminal building close-up. They originate from Prepar3D v5 and all can be seen below. You can enlarge the images by clicking on them.
It was, however, mentioned in the comment section under the post, that we should not expect release this year – 2020. It was said that there are still possibly months of work on the scenery.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD) is one of the two international airports in Shanghai, the largest city in China by population. The airport has four active runways and serves as a hub for many major passenger and cargo airlines such as Air China, China Eastern Airlines, or Juneyao Airlines as well as FedEx, DHL, and UPS.
