DC Designs Development Update (03.07)

DC Designs has released a development update for their current projects on Facebook. The developer talks about the Concorde and their Farnborough Airport (EGLF). An expected release date is given as well.

There’s not much news about the Concorde. Development is still in progress but has been more on the backend side recently. The team is coding the systems, creating lights and other functions.

Farnborough airport was on hold for a long time but is now back in full development. The airport is being recreated using new tools and will be compatible with MSFS2020. Assets like cars and landmarks are currently being worked on. Textures are previewed as well, but they are work in progress and will be refined as more detailed resources and imagery becomes available. The entire airport will be covered with 30cm/px resolution aerial imagery. The textures shown come straight from the rendering program. No PBR, maps or speculars are applied yet.
