After a few months of waiting, new information regarding the new FlyJSim 737-200 Version 4 for X-Plane 12 has been unveiled. The developer revealed everything there is to know about this new version of one of their add-on aircraft for X-Plane. Since the last update in October, when it was confirmed that this is only an upgrade and not a complete remake for X-Plane 12, news of the project has slowed down. However, all the new features of this upgraded 732 add-on and a release date have surfaced in a new development update on their Discord Server.
The last version of this add-on was Version 3 for X-Plane 11, released eight years ago in 2018. Ever since its release, it has received multiple updates and patches from the developer. When X-Plane 12 was released in 2022, FlyJSim started working on bringing this add-on to the new simulator as a free compatibility upgrade. However, plans quickly changed, and the new Version 4 was now planned as a paid upgrade with a discount for previous 732 owners.
The 732 Twin Jet V4 has been in development for a couple of years, with some teasers and development updates released by FlyJSim. This month, the developer finally announced that the new 732 is near completion and released a development update with the final features of this upgrade and its release date.

As stated by the developer, this is not a full rework of the aircraft, but rather an upgrade bringing a new flight model and physics proper of X-Plane 12. New advanced avionics, teased a few months ago, complement this version with digital 833Hz radios, an MFD-640 Display with weather and terrain radar, and a new digital ADF panel. Other important features include the new Custom SP-77 Autopilot and improved FMS, a gravel version of this aircraft for rough-terrain operations, and new radio simulations.

FlyJSim claims this is the most capable version of this aircraft they have ever shipped. This add-on is scheduled to be released during the first half of next month. The developer will announce pricing for new and existing users of this add-on at a later date. Stay tuned for the release of this add-on here at FSNews.
