Flight Sim Studio AG has announced major updates for their flagship products, including the 727v2, a new variant of the 727, E-Jets v1.0, as well as v2 updates for the Tecnam P2012 and P2006T. Some information about FSS’ plans for the E-Jets’ post-1.0 updates was also shared.
E-Jets V1.0
According to FSS, their much awaited E-Jets v1.0 for Microsoft Flight Simulator are currently in internal testing with a public release on the way. This version will include a complete autopilot rework and integrated performance calculations among other enhancements, with continued development planned beyond v1.0.

MSFS 2020 users will receive the full release of the FSS E-Jets as expected and originally announced. However, citing a changing flight simulation landscape, FSS will cease providing support and updates for MSFS 2020 after v1.0, save for critical bugfixes. Accordingly, once v1.0 has been completed, the next step for the E-Jets will be a native FS2024 version, which is set to include a complete visual and backend rework, and will be free for owners of previous versions.
727v2
With their 727 reaching maturity, FSS has revealed future plans for the iconic trijet in the form of a fully overhauled 727v2. Much like the E-Jets, it will receive a complete visual rework, with new external textures, an improved 3D model, as well as improved sounds and interior details.

Further, the developer announced the release will add a new variant to the line up, the 727-200 Advanced, featuring a substantially increased range and more powerful engines. FSS has yet to reveal a release date or price, however, following their previous pricing model, the aircraft will be released on the usual platforms with a discount for existing 727 owners.
Tecnams v2
Finally, Flight Sim Studios are working on respective v2 updates for their Tecnam P2012 and P2006. Both aircraft will receive a full art rework, with a new model, textures, and VIP-cabin option for the P2012. The latter is slated to arrive first as a paid upgrade, with work on the P2006v2 beginning once development is complete.
