iniBuilds has released version 1.0.10 of its A340 Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, introducing a new round of refinements and system improvements to the long-range widebody aircraft. The update focuses on improving operational accuracy and overall stability across several core aircraft systems while addressing a number of issues previously reported by users.
According to the developer, this update includes a variety of fixes and adjustments across the aircraft’s flight guidance and navigation systems. Several improvements have been made to FMGS behaviour, MCDU functionality, and general navigation handling, helping to deliver a smoother and more reliable experience during normal flight operations and long-haul flights within the simulator.
The update also introduces a range of additional refinements aimed at improving the aircraft’s overall operational performance in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. These changes help improve system consistency and stability across different phases of flight, ensuring that procedures and aircraft behaviour remain closer to real-world Airbus operations.

In addition to navigation and system improvements, the update addresses several smaller issues that affected day-to-day operation of the aircraft in previous versions. These adjustments aim to improve overall reliability while ensuring that the aircraft continues to perform consistently during typical airline procedures, from pre-flight setup to cruise and approach phases.
The iniBuilds A340 Airliner remains one of the most detailed long-haul aircraft currently available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The aircraft was developed using real-world reference material and feedback from real pilots, with the goal of recreating the experience of operating the four-engine Airbus widebody within the simulator as accurately as possible.

Version 1.0.10 is now available for existing owners of the aircraft. A full list of fixes and improvements included in the update has been published by the developer on their official forum, where users can review the complete changelog and developer notes describing the latest refinements.
Interestingly, this update also arrives at a time when another Airbus A340 is preparing to enter the Microsoft Flight Simulator ecosystem. Aerosoft’s upcoming A340 is scheduled to release tomorrow, meaning sim pilots will soon have multiple options available when it comes to flying Airbus’ iconic four-engine long-haul aircraft.
