iniBuilds has officially announced Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (LFPG) as its next major European scenery project for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The announcement comes as part of the developer’s latest scenery update, with iniBuilds confirming that work on the French hub is already underway. The team says a significant amount of research has been completed, covering the airport layout, terminal architecture, airside infrastructure and the wider surrounding environment.

Taking on One of Europe’s Largest Hubs
Charles de Gaulle is one of Europe’s largest and most important international airports, handling everything from short-haul European flights to long-haul passenger services and extensive cargo operations.
That variety is only part of the challenge facing iniBuilds. LFPG is defined by a sprawling terminal complex, satellite buildings, an extensive taxiway network, cargo facilities, hotels, roads and rail infrastructure, creating one of the more complex airport environments in Europe.
Rather than relying solely on conventional reference material, iniBuilds is also looking for input from people who know the airport first-hand.
The developer is particularly interested in hearing from current or former airport employees, flight crews, ground handling teams, operations staff and engineers. Their experience could help the team capture smaller operational details that may otherwise be difficult to reproduce accurately.

Research Already Underway
According to iniBuilds, the material gathered so far is already being used to recreate the individual character of each terminal area, from the airport’s better-known architecture to smaller details across the airfield.
The company has not yet shown a full set of in-simulator previews, with the latest development update instead serving as the project’s formal announcement. iniBuilds says the first proper previews will be shared as development progresses.
There is currently no announced release date or pricing for Charles de Gaulle, and iniBuilds has not yet detailed the scenery’s full feature set.
For now, the announcement adds another major European hub to the developer’s Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 roadmap, with much more still to be revealed as the project moves forward.
