Orbx, a company well known for its high-quality scenery, took to its Facebook page to announce the release of Harvey Field (S43) and Monroe Firstair (W16) for MSFS 2024. With this release, Orbx has focused on releasing its high-quality renditions of these airports located in the Pacific Northwest.

Harvey Field (S43)

Harvey Field is a public-use airport that is privately owned, located northeast of Seattle in Washington State. The airport was established in 1944. Today, Harvey Field is a base for flight training that is conducted on both fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft. The airport is also a hotspot for skydiving.

Monroe Firstair (W16)

Monroe Firstair, also known as First Air Field, was first activated in November 1969. It is an untowered airport that is also located northeast of Seattle and southwest of Harvey Field. With the runway being just shy of 2,100 feet as well as being close to parked aircraft, landing at this airport requires the utmost concentration from pilots.

Key Features

One of the key features that both sceneries include is photo-realistic HD textures that the team created by conducting onsite photography for both airports, as well as full PBR UHD texturing in order to provide an incredibly detailed, high-definition rendition of the airports. This airport has been built and optimized for MSFS 2024 only.

Orbx’s Harvey Field and Monroe Firstair Airports for MSFS 2024 are now available for purchase via the Orbx website for $24.84 AUD. If you’re interested in other Orbx releases, check out our article for the PNG Bush Strip pack here.
