Parallel 42 have announced pricing and release details for its latest product, ChasePlane. Coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, ChasePlane is based on the version of this add-on created for Prepar3D, which was widely used. ChasePlane is the “ultimate camera system” for MSFS.
What is ChasePlane?
ChasePlane is P42’s newest add-on for MSFS 2020. It brings a much more intuitive camera system to the simulator. The add-on will debut on MSFS 2020 while MSFS 2024 continues to evolve. When an MSFS 2024 version is ready, P42 will release it as a free upgrade to all current owners for a limited time after the release. They will work on MSFS 2024 at a reasonable pace until a version is ready for release.
Made to give simmers a better camera system for MSFS, ChasePlane is a powerful and versatile system. It allows you to create custom views or import them from the community cloud. It also breaks free of the standard camera limit in MSFS, which allows only as many cameras as you have numbers. It gives you seamless control over all of your views and can be bound to any shortcut for easy use.

The main features of ChasePlane are the custom views, cinematic, flyby, tower cam, physics-based camera motion and community integration. It also comes with cloud backups so you never lose your views. Lots of pre-release content has already been shown by P42, with tutorials and feature showcases available on their YouTube Channel.
Release and Pricing Details
P42 say the product will be priced at just $30 or €28. This includes everything in one single package, with no subscription for any of these features. There is no exact release date for ChasePlane yet. However, P42 have given a release date for an early access release. This early access release will be available for Club 42 members, which you can join by spending $42 or more on their website.
As a Club42 member, you will get an early access release on Friday, March 14th, at 11:42 am CST. This date is to celebrate the start of FSWeekend in Lelystad, Netherlands. The limited rollout is to allow Parallel 42 to stress test features and gather initial feedback so they can address any pre-launch issues.
