In the recent announcement of PMDG’s Boeing 737-700 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the team has showcased an overhauled version of this aircraft. Just a few days later, the aircraft is available for everyone to purchase. The release of the 737-700 essentially means the completion of the initial release cycle of the aircraft series for the new Asobo simulator.

The release has been announced through the developer’s Forums page. In this one, Robert Randazzo talks about how things have changed in the team from a nostalgic standpoint. The 737-700 and its new model are changing the way the 737 works in the simulator, and the visual aspect of the aircraft is completely different, as opposed to the MSFS 2020 version.

In the MSFS 2024 version of PMDG’s 737-700, we can notice an overhauled 3D model of both exterior and interior. There are many more details, higher visual fidelity, and even new animations, such as animated window shades and overhead bins, as we could’ve noticed in the forum post.

Currently, the 737-700 for MSFS 2024 is available for approximately €63.94. Those who have already owned the MSFS 2020 version of the aircraft are eligible for a 60% discount on this base price. This means that you can purchase this improved variant for €38.
