Pyreegue Dev Co. took to their Facebook page to announce the release date for their rendition of Birmingham Airport (EGBB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The product has been in development for a while now, and a whole host of previews have been shared by the developer.
About Birmingham Airport
Birmingham Airport (formerly Birmingham International Airport), the primary international airport serving the city of Birmingham, England, is located eight miles east-southeast of Birmingham city center. It was officially unveiled as Elmdon Airport on July 8th, 1939, and requisitioned by the Air Ministry during the Second World War. It was used by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy as RAF Elmdon and subsequently opened to civilian operations in 1946. 12.9 million passengers passed through the airport in 2017, making it the seventh busiest in the UK. International scheduled services from EGBB are offered to countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, the Caribbean, and India. It is an operating base for easyJet, Jet2.com, Ryanair, and TUI Airways.

Key Features to Expect
Pyreegue has revealed the release date for their latest rendition for MSFS to be August 1st, 2025. Keep in mind that this is not 100% certain and is subject to change; this is a targeted date. While Pyreegue has not yet put up a product page, and key features remain unknown, we can infer some of it from the multitude of teaser shots released. As stated in a post, Pyreegue has revealed that the airport will have an up-to-date layout referencing the latest plans and charts.

Furthermore, the add-on seems to be developed with a very high level of quality, detail, and accuracy. The jetways have been modeled with high accuracy and detail, and feature different materials thanks to the use of PBR textures to accurately reflect glass, metal, and other materials. A car park near the airport has also been modeled and placed, as well as a highly detailed model of the ATC tower. A hangar has also been modeled. The interiors of the terminal have also been painstakingly recreated, and overall modeling/texturing throughout the product seem to be of high definition.

Closing Notes
Overall, this is shaping up to be a very exciting release from the developer for MSFS. The textures, modeling, and detailing appear to be crisp, accurate, and immersive.
