With the recently released Birmingham Airport (EGBB) still fresh in the community’s mind, Pyreegue Dev Co. appears to be heading south. A recent Facebook reel posted on the developer’s official page has fans decoding a subtle teaser, a Boeing 737 captain entering flight details into the CDU, setting EGBB as origin and LEPA (Palma de Mallorca) as destination, with flight number EXS1275, a real-world Jet2 service between Birmingham and Palma.

While the clip may seem ambiguous at first glance, confirmation quickly followed in the comments. Popular YouTuber Practically Geek, a frequent collaborator and early access tester for developers, stated that they “can confirm Pyreegue is heading to LEPA next.”
This would mark the first southern European airport for Pyreegue, who has earned a stellar reputation in the sim community for its visual fidelity, performance optimization, and attention to airside realism. The developer’s latest release delivered what has become their signature mix of animated elements, high-resolution textures, and GSX-ready stand setups—now a hallmark of Pyreegue’s workflow.

Palma de Mallorca Airport
Serving over 29 million passengers annually, Palma de Mallorca Airport—also known as Son Sant Joan Airport—is the third busiest in Spain, behind Madrid and Barcelona. A major hub for leisure carriers such as Jet2, easyJet, Ryanair, and Eurowings, it is one of Europe’s most important seasonal destinations, connecting the Balearic Islands with dozens of European cities during summer peaks.
The airport features two parallel runways: 06L/24R and 06R/24L, both over 3,000 meters long, capable of accommodating heavy aircraft and sustained high-traffic flows during peak periods. Its vast apron, complex taxiway network, and Mediterranean setting offer a rich canvas for detail-focused developers like Pyreegue.

No formal announcement has been made yet regarding timeline or features, but expectations remain high for a premium rendition of Palma de Mallorca Airport (LEPA), consistent with the quality seen in Pyreegue’s recent UK airports. We’ll continue monitoring this development and report back as more details emerge. In the meantime, you can take a look at the original teaser video on Pyreegue’s Facebook page here.
