Realistic Loadsheet Generator Now Available, for Free

Every flight includes a loadsheet, a document detailing the distribution of passengers, cargo, and fuel onboard. FlightSimPartner is happy to introduce their first tool, eLoadcontrol, a freeware tool to generate realistic loadsheets.

According to their website, FlightSimPartner’s team consists of active employees from a ground handling company at Brussels Airport, including ground crew, loadmasters, and engineers. Their goal with eLoadcontrol was to create a lifelike application based on their experience in the field.

eLoadcontrol calculates MAC [%] (Mean Aerodynamic Chord) for Zero Fuel Weight (ZFW), Takeoff Weight (TOW), and Landing Weight (LDW). This information is important to ensure safe operations during the whole flight. It further generates an accurate loadsheet that can be used for performance calculations, load planning, and cargo distribution across compartments.

Another cool feature is the ability to send the loadsheet to your aircraft via ACARS. This way you can display your loadsheet directly in your aircraft, which also aids the immersion.

For ease of use, eLoadcontrol can fetch data directly from Simbrief, making it much easier to generate the loadsheets. In other words, you do not have to fill in the necessary fields manually but can leave it to the system to fetch them from your current flight plan from Simbrief.

While the application has an extensive airline database, the developers noted that the aircraft configurations represent the standard one in the manufacturer documentation. It wasn’t mentioned if the team used their real-life experience and featured airline-specific loading procedures. For context, some airlines prefer to load their cargo to the rear, while others prefer to have their cargo spread across the compartments, for example.
