SayIntentions.AI has released Checklists v2, a complete rewrite of its original AI Checklist feature, bringing a wide range of new functionality to the existing software.
The new version introduces a range of improvements designed by SayIntentions to make checklists more immersive. You can now create and manage checklists through the online checklist tuner, share them with the community, and even import or export them as a PDF.

AI Co-pilot Interaction
SayIntentions has also added full automation, enabling the AI co-pilot to directly interact with aircraft systems. This includes support for KVARs, LVARs, AVARs, and X-Plane datarefs, enabling features such as automatically lowering the landing gear or setting frequencies when prompted. The system also supports placeholders for dynamic flight variables, letting the AI reference data such as altimeter settings or ATC assigned frequencies.
AI-Driven Checklists
Checklists are entirely AI-driven meaning nothing is pre-recorded. Both challenge/response scenarios and automated actions adapt naturally to the flight environment such as assigned frequencies, altimeter settings and more. Beyond checklist mode, pilots can instruct the AI to perform specific tasks as mentioned above.
Aircraft Support
Checklist v2 supports all aircraft across Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024, as well as X-Plane 11 and 12. The feature is accessible both online and through the SayIntentions desktop app.

Checklist V2 is currently available in alpha preview for partner customers, who support ongoing development with a one-time fee. A public beta is expected in the coming weeks, with a full release to all SayIntentions subscribers planned soon at no additional cost.
Feature Announcement and Showcase Livestream
At the beginning of the stream, the AI co-pilot is shown performing checklist items, responding to pilot requests, and handling other routine flight procedures such as departure briefings. Throughout the livestream presentation, SayIntentions founder Brian, joined by UI architect B2, emphasized that while this is a “massive and total rewrite” the team is committed to continuous improvement and balancing resources with their core ATC and traffic injection products.
