SimWorks Studios has announced a new partnership on their Discord server with MOZA Racing, aimed at improving the integration between the developer’s aircraft and MOZA’s growing lineup of flight simulation hardware.
As part of the collaboration, future SimWorks Studios aircraft will include official MOZA control presets developed jointly by both teams. These profiles are designed to provide optimized hardware mappings out of the box, reducing the need for manual configuration while allowing users to interact more naturally with complex aircraft systems.
According to SimWorks Studios, the presets are carefully tailored to each aircraft’s workflow, making use of MOZA’s flight controls while maintaining an authentic operating experience. The partnership will also allow both development teams to work closely on testing new features, refining hardware compatibility, and improving the user experience over time.
The first aircraft to receive an official MOZA profile will be the Pilatus PC-12. SimWorks Studios states that the PC-12 was chosen because of the team’s direct experience with the aircraft, alongside input from real-world PC-12 pilots. This collaboration is intended to ensure that both the handling characteristics and aircraft system interactions closely reflect the real aircraft.
The companies also confirmed that additional SimWorks Studios aircraft will receive dedicated MOZA profiles in the future. Beyond predefined control mappings, both teams plan to explore further integration opportunities, including aircraft-specific functionality and future force feedback enhancements where supported by the hardware.
The announcement was accompanied by preview images showcasing the MOZA MGX1000 multifunction display unit alongside the SimWorks Studios Kodiak 100, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the two companies.
