SimWorks Studios has announced progress on several of its aircraft titles, including an upcoming update for the PC-12, ongoing work on the MSFS 2024 version of Airvan, and updates to the SystemsPulse add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The PC-12 update has completed internal checks and is now being packaged for distribution, which is expected to begin early next week. The update introduces new cabin and seat models, updated textures, and enhanced crosswind handling. Additional improvements include adjustments to ground effect, flap drag, rudder authority, and steering behavior. Systems enhancements address engine performance at higher altitudes, air conditioning efficiency and temperature range, and improved door and window safety warnings.

SWS has also refined the nose wheel steering (NWS) logic, adjusting the steering angle based on speed and updating internal variable names for better consistency. The aileron-rudder interconnect has been adjusted to balance crosswind handling above 20 knots. The update also adds support for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 with extra passenger and pilot nodes in the interior models.
The 2024 Airvan release has been delayed due to a bug affecting the autopilot’s heading hold function. The developer reports that all other aspects of the aircraft are ready, and work continues to resolve the remaining issue before the base aircraft can be released.

For SystemsPulse, SimWorks Studios has developed a native MSFS 2024-compatible version after extensive testing. In the process, several bugs affecting the 2020 version were identified and fixed, with updates now available on the Marketplace. Testing for the GA-8 SystemsPulse edition for FS2024 is underway, although no release date has been announced.
