TropicalSim Releases Albuquerque (P3D)

TropicalSim has today released their scenery for Albuquerque International Sunport (KABQ) for P3D v4 and above. TropicalSim did not announce anything previously about this scenery. Albuquerque International Sunport is an airport near the New Mexican city of Albuquerque. It’s the state’s biggest city and its primary economic hub. This means that the airport plays an important role in the state’s economy. Even though the airport can handle international flights, no airlines currently fly to destinations outside of the US.

All major American passenger and cargo airlines visit the airport regularly. You can fly to destinations in neighbouring states, but nothing is stopping you to fly to New York with Jetblue or to Atlanta with Delta. There are many cargo carriers operating at this airport too. ABQ sees regular flights from UPS, FedEx and the local cargo airline South Aero supplying most of New Mexico with air cargo.

This addon features KABQ airport in high detail and with good night lighting. Autogen is included as well and blends in with the default scenery. Dynamic lighting is included too, as are SODE jetways. It uses P3D v4 and v5 native materials. You can find a full list of features at the bottom of this article. There is no news about a conversion to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
