Verticalsim took to their Discord server earlier this week to announce the release of their rendition of Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. The scenery was in beta testing around five days prior and had seen some progress updates in December last year.
About Palm Beach International Airport
Palm Beach International Airport, also known as PBI Airport and historically as Morrison Field & Palm Beach Air Force Base, is a public airport located just west of West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. It serves as the primary airport for most of Palm Beach County and is the third-busiest airport in the Miami metropolitan area. PBI Airport offers scheduled passenger services to around 50 destinations across America and is served by several airlines, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, Southwest, and United.

Key Features of Verticalsim’s PBI
Verticalsim’s rendition of Palm Beach International features a highly detailed terminal building, complete with its interiors also modeled, along with fully modeled, highly accurate hangars and FBOs, custom-grade aerial imagery, an up-to-date airport layout, and custom taxiway signage with obstruction lights and centerline lights. The product also includes a NetJets FBO interior, modeled buildings and other scenery elements in the surrounding vicinity, and a hangar that you can spawn in. Furthermore, the developer has optimized the scenery with LODs for a smooth in-sim experience and included an official GSX Pro profile.

Closing Notes
Verticalsim’s Palm Beach International Airport is available for purchase on the Contrail Shop and on Verticalsim’s Store. The scenery retails for USD 21.99, inclusive of any taxes. The developers have also released a launch trailer commemorating the release, which can be viewed below.
