Jack from BlueBird Simulations has recently taken to Reddit to show that the development of the highly anticipated Boeing 757 is still at full pace, and has shown us various previews of the aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

It has been mentioned that a lot of work has already been done on the aircraft since its last previews that were shown at FSExpo 2025. Whilst Jack hasn’t mentioned any firm release date of the aircraft, he mentioned that the team plans two more video updates, and the release is planned “before GTA 6”.

Speaking of the aircraft’s status, the LNAV and VNAV are practically 70% complete and are on the final stretch. The BlueBird Simulations team aims to have 200 functional circuit breakers in the aircraft upon its release, and 153 of them is already simulated. The aircraft should be ready to enter beta testing in the next few weeks.

The Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 version of the BlueBird 757 is not going to be a native aircraft, rather than just made compatible with the new simulator. These versions should be included in the release of the aircraft or shortly after the release.

The previews show the aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s game engine, mostly from the cockpit. There, we can notice a few important details, such as the modern EFB, beautiful CRT displays and night-time cabin lighting, which seems to be done with great attention to detail. One exterior preview has been shown as well, showing the Boeing 757-200 in the United Airlines livery whilst climbing.
