The developer FlightSim Studio is working on a major update for their E-Jets series for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Alongside Aviationlads, a YouTube channel focused on trailers and teasers, they have shown us the first official in-sim previews of the new systems for this aircraft series.
This development preview shows most of the things the E-Jets series is currently lacking, including the new MCDU, which supports Navdata import, including custom scenery navdata or the ability to align IRS (navigation). It is promised that the IRS alignment is going to be as realistic as possible.

The autopilot will get its enhancements as well, with better LNAV functions. VNAV is not mentioned in the video, but we can clearly see it working in the simulator setting. This might indicate its appearance in the next update, as VNAV is something highly demanded by the community in this aircraft.
The HSI and MFD receive new features, such as weather radar and plan functionalities. There is also a vertical situation display, showing you the vertical profile of the flight plan.

At the end of the video, we can see that the FlightSim Studio team has been working on autoland capability, too, which is going to come with this upcoming update. This includes missed approach procedures displayed on the MFD.
Lastly, the FlightSim Studio E-Jets series should also receive a major performance update, and virtual pilots should be getting 10 more frames per second on average while flying this aircraft. No release date for this update has been mentioned yet. However, it is known that it should be released soon.
