Gaya Studios has announced a return to consumer-focused development for Microsoft Flight Simulator with the release of LGKR Corfu International Airport scenery. The project marks a shift back to direct products for users while the studio continues its partnership work with Microsoft.

The airport was selected because of its location between the sea, the city, and the coast, as well as its role in European seasonal air traffic. The scenery is intended for short-haul routes and charter operations within the simulator platform.
Gaya Studios states that the project adheres to several development goals, including execution standards, asset creation, layout accuracy, simulator performance, and environmental details such as lighting and atmosphere. The studio says these elements were used to represent flight operations at Corfu within Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Alongside the Corfu release, Gaya Studios confirmed plans for a Version 2 update of Vienna International Airport (LOWW) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The update responds to community requests. Details about that update are planned for a later release.
Further previews, screenshots, and release information for LGKR Corfu International Airport are expected to be published through the studio’s official communication channels.
