iniBuilds Announces Chicago O’Hare for MSFS 2024

iniBuilds announces Chicago O’Hare KORD for MSFS 2024, calling it its most ambitious airport scenery yet as development moves ahead.

iniBuilds is currently going through a busy week, with many deals, announcements of new features, teasing the Airbus A380 Airliner, and now, they have announced development of Chicago O’Hare International Airport (KORD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The announcement has been made through the developer’s Forums in a development update.

The team states that their scenery of Chicago O’Hare is going to be their most ambitious scenery project yet, and is progressing at a great pace. The work has been ongoing for the past few months already, and we can already see that in the previews shown, which display the exterior of the scenery. Virtual pilots may expect features like terminal interiors, custom ground textures, improved signage, lighting and many more from this scenery of Chicago O’Hare.

The development update not only covers the announcement of KORD. The iniBuilds team also mentioned that they are working on an improved version of their Dubai International Airport (OMDB) scenery. This is going to bring their current Dubai Airport iteration to the modern IniBuilds standards. This includes better texturing, modelling and other details. The development update states that the biggest improvement is going to be performance. iniBuilds Dubai International Airport v2 is going to be available completely free of charge once it is released.

Lastly, the iniBuilds team has provided us with a glance at their multiple-jetways feature, which is going to be added into their sceneries with their exclusive multiple-jetway system. It is completely external to the GSX-developed counterpart as well.

We may expect some more news from iniBuilds later throughout this weekend, as FSExpo is upon us. Stay tuned to FSNews to get the latest information from this event.
