On July 4, 2025, Just Flight shared a new development update regarding its A300B4 Professional project, currently in production for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The update outlined progress in cockpit modeling, external textures, cabin completion, and systems integration.

The cockpit model and textures were reported as effectively complete, based on reference material from the A300B4-203 (F-WUAB) located at the Aeroscopia museum in Toulouse. Various cockpit configurations will be supported via the EFB, depending on selected aircraft variants. The initial focus remains on replicating the A300B4-203 variant, equipped with an INS, with options for additional avionics, such as the UNS-1 FMS and TCAS VSI, also planned. Inside the aircraft, the passenger cabin was described as nearing completion. The cabin features over 200 seats, with a layout that reflects the aircraft’s 1980s commercial service. A separate update on cabin details is scheduled for a future release.

Externally, development work on the aircraft model is reportedly 95% complete. Tasks still underway include modeling a second engine variant and implementing wing flex animations. Just Flight noted significant upgrades from its earlier P3D version, including the reworking of various areas of the exterior model to meet MSFS standards. Texturing work continues, with the team applying research gathered from recent high-resolution photography sessions of the reference airframe. Corrections were made to previously textured areas based on this additional data.
On the systems side, Just Flight confirmed that core systems code has now been integrated into the MSFS version. This allows internal testing of the system’s functionality to begin. The systems suite includes Electrical, Hydraulics, Bleed Air, Flight Controls, Landing Gear, APU, Engines, and Fuel systems. Developers highlighted a detailed simulation of the fuel system, including variable fuel pump pressure values to reflect minor variations found in the real aircraft.

The remaining work focuses primarily on navigation-related systems, such as the Autopilot and Inertial Navigation System (INS), with development ongoing. No release date has been announced. Just Flight indicated that additional development updates will follow. For further updates on flight simulation news, releases, and developments, explore our other articles available on FSNews.
