Miltech Simulations, a well-known developer recognized for the release of the MH60 for MSFS, has published its September Development Blog. Released each month, this new blog has shared news regarding the MH60, the release of the A1H Skyraider, and the announcement of a new helicopter for MSFS.

The Future Ahead of the MH60

Released roughly a month ago in collaboration with Blackbird Simulations, Miltech Simulations has classified the MH60 as its “most successful release to date,” given its high ratings and the community’s overall satisfaction. The developer looks forward to pushing a new update in the upcoming weeks that will primarily focus on the following:

  • APU Fuel Valves closing, making APU INOP
  • Multiplayer compatibility and model-matching improvements
  • MFD Stability improvements to avoid coherent or map crashes
  • Tweaked engine values (Torque, Ng)
  • Adding explosion effects to hellfire craters (PC Only)
  • Improvements to Autopilot and Trims

In terms of the release of the aircraft for MSFS 2024, the developer has confirmed that, although issues have arisen, the Microsoft Marketplace engineering team is actively investigating the matter. Unfortunately, there is still no information regarding a possible release date.

Announcement of the Miltech Simulations UH60

Once again, in partnership with Blackbird Simulations, just like the release of the MH60, Miltech has announced the expansion of the ‘Hawk’ family with the future release of the UH60. The team will focus on the Alpha and Lima variants, which will offer cockpit variety to suit the preferences of the community. Miltech also clarified that the Mike and other S70 variants are currently not planned.

The aircraft is expected to be released in early 2026, and its release will be as a “separate, standalone aircraft,” and could include discounts for MH60 owners. The developer clarifies that even though both the UH60 and the MH60 share some similarities, they also feature significant differences, which is why it will be released as a new product.

The A1H Skyraider

One more time, Miltech Simulations has partnered with Blackbird Simulations to develop the A1H Skyraider for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 & 2024. Renowned for its rugged design, unmatched versatility, and ability to carry an extraordinary payload, the A1H Skyraider is one of the most important and remembered carrier-based aircraft of the second half of the 20th century. The plane will include the following features:
