The developer MK Studios has recently posted a development update, where they covered the future of their current sceneries and compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. As mentioned, their iteration of Helsinki Vantaa Airport should come first, and this promise was delivered, as the scenery of Helsinki was released yesterday. The announcement of the release was made through the developer’s Discord server.

This iteration of Helsinki Vantaa Airport (EFHK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers an improved scenery of the already available version for MSFS 2020. MK Studios promises that this is a highly detailed rendition, with high-quality models of both the exterior and the interior of the airport terminals and other buildings. There are hand-crafted taxiway signs, ground services and other vehicles scattered around the airport.

The 3D models are covered in high-resolution textures, recreated with the best possible attention to detail. The ground layout also resembles the airport as is as of November 2025, and there is correct runway elevation data as well.

You can purchase this updated scenery through the Contrail store for €17.99. This price excludes local value-added tax. In case you already own the previous version of Helsinki Airport, you are eligible for a 30% discount.
