The developer MK Studios has, through their Discord server, shared a new development update regarding the future of their highly popular sceneries. Team member Matt has spoken in the post about all the major sceneries by MK Studios and their compatibility in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The team has been busy working on the compatibility updates, and the first to get an overhaul is Helsinki Airport (EFHK), which should be released during the coming days, with the NDA being lifted tomorrow (Monday), which should result in more previews being shown before the release. A new version of Rovaniemi (EFRO) is also in development and is scheduled to be released in December.

MK Studios Vagar (EKVG) is going to get its overhaul in January with many improved features, such as new satellite imagery of the surrounding area, better terrain and improved points of interest. The airside will also get its needed love, with improved apron layout and a new parking stand.

Moving south, Rome (LIRF) is going to get an overhaul as well, with the first beta entering testing by the end of this month. Porto (LPPR) and Fuerteventura (GCFV) are planned during the first half of 2026.

The team is also asking the community for media of Keflavik Airport, as that is also aimed to be redone, including photos of the new terminal and its interior and exterior.
