Navigraph Announces Free Training Platform: Navigraph Academy

Navigraph announced their new Academy for all types of simmers - completly free of charge.

Navigraph has revealed a new addition to its ecosystem: Navigraph Academy, a completely free training program for flight simulation enthusiasts. First announced at FSExpo and set to launch in 2025, the Academy aims to provide expert-led instruction that is both accessible and professional.

According to Navigraph, the Academy will be taught by certified flight instructors and commercial pilots who bring both extensive real-world aviation and simulation experience. The training will be based on the Private Pilot License (PPL), but adapted for all levels of simmers. The goal is to bridge the gap between flying in the simulator and understanding how procedures are managed in actual cockpits.

The academy promises side-by-side comparisons between simulator operations and real-world flying, along with demonstrations and commentary designed to build both knowledge and confidence. Importantly, Navigraph emphasizes that the program will be free of charge and designed to work with all major simulators, without requiring specialized or expensive hardware.

To give the community a first look, Navigraph has released a preview video outlining the Academy’s content, format, and instructors. In addition to its official YouTube channel, the company also shared a short Instagram reel showcasing behind-the-scenes footage and highlights from the upcoming platform.

With over 20 years of providing navigation data, charts, and planning tools to the flight simulation community, Navigraph is now extending into training. Registration for updates is already open on Navigraph’s website.
