About the King Air C90 and Pilot Experience Sim
The King Air C90 is an American aircraft, manufactured by Beechcraft in Wichita. This twin-turboprop was introduced in the 1960s and has since faced competition from aircraft like the Embraer Phenom 100 and Pilatus PC-12. The American Army and Navy alongside civilians have primarily used this aircraft for utility purposes.
Pilot Experience Sim is currently working to release various airports like Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte (LFKJ) and Brest Bretagne (LFRB) for the region of France. They have also released aircraft like aircraft like the Maule M-7 and an FPV drone racer for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Progress Update
The team at Pilot Experience Sim is in contact with a few real-life King Air C90 pilots who are helping them get photographic references for the cockpit allowing them to model the aircraft with better accuracy. The team has been working on systems like the fuel gauge and circuit breakers while modeling them to work as precisely as they do in the aircraft.
The yoke has been designed with a leatherette-reinforced finish to give a sense of the actual yoke. The yoke also contains a digital chronometer, we will also have the option of replacing the central system with an analog version. The aircraft is expected to be released with a winglet variant and may also feature random failures.
The cockpit for the aircraft is nearing completion and houses the Garmin G1000 screens which might also have a progressive soiling option, requiring maintenance to be carried out for cleansing. This, alongside fully working circuit breakers, shows the dedication of the developers towards creating a true-to-life add-on.
Conclusion
There is currently no news shared about the release of the addon yet, although it is expected to be released soon since most parts of the aircraft have neared completion.
