Robert Randazzo from PMDG released a new post on their forum regarding new information about their Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons. This was done in celebration of their birthday. PMDG is now officially 28 years old, having been established in 1994. The developer has shared new information about their current and upcoming products, with a little surprise at the end of this post.
PMDG 737NG for MSFS2020
The developer has rolled out a new version of their Operation Center back in April. Since its release, some add-ons have not been compatible with this latest version. PMDG has now updated its 737NG for MSFS 2020 add-ons to be compatible with Operation Center v3. Due to this change, users are required to uninstall the 737NG for MSFS 2020 and reinstall it with Operation Center v3. This change also applies to liveries for the 737NG for MSFS 2020.
PMDG 777
Robert moves on to talk about news regarding their 777 fleet. A new update was released last week for all 777 aircraft. However, this update will arrive in a few days for Xbox users. Robert has also confirmed a new update is coming next week for the 777, adding new fixes and changes based on suggestions from users.
Regarding the 777-200LR for the MSFS 20/24 Marketplace, the developer has confirmed that it will be released in the next 7-10 days. Robert also talked briefly about the 777X, for which the PMDG team is currently waiting to get access to the aircraft. The developer confirmed that these talks are “very positive and ongoing”.

Other News
The rest of the post gave some insight into their upcoming products. The 737NG for MSFS 2024 is still under development with no significant updates shared in this post. We can expect further news about the 737NG for MSFS 2024 when it goes into beta. Robert confirmed that this project is moving along nicely.
The DC6 for MSFS 2024 is currently being held due to LOD problems with the aircraft. PMDG is waiting on a fix for this problem to be able to release the aircraft. It is reported that the add-on is working correctly, except for the visual part.

Robert concluded this post by stating that the 747-400 cockpit model is advancing nicely. It is currently unknown which of the two 747s being developed by PMDG will be released first. The developer also didn’t share any news regarding the 737MAX or 747-100 in this post. We can expect further news about these add-ons in the future. Finally, the developer announced an ongoing sale of all PMDG products on their store to celebrate their birthday.
