WINWING Unveils New Full-Size Airbus EFIS Panel

WINWING, the company behind several home simulator products, has unveiled their latest home flight simulation product via Facebook. The WINWING EFIS panel continues from their Airbus FCU as another part of the Airbus glare shield.

WINWING EFIS Panel

This new product release is a 1:1 scale replica of the real Airbus EFIS panel. Just like their previous replica of the Airbus Flight Control Unit, the EFIS features tactile buttons and rotary knobs, an authentic LCD, ADF-VOR switches with custom metal caps and a physical pull-up mechanism to prevent accidental use.

The EFIS is designed to work effortlessly with their Airbus FCU using a SATA expansion port, allowing the whole unit to work with a single USB cable. The device comes with multiple mounting options for both cockpit and desktop setups with SIMAPP plug-and-play.

All A320 aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 11 and 12 are compatible with this new hardware. WINWING notes that the EFIS panel is not made for standalone use and requires their FCU product to work on a single USB cable.

WINWING has designed this EFIS panel to look, feel and sound like the real EFIS unit found in Airbus aircraft. It’s a part of their continued series of panels to replicate a 1:1 scale full cockpit for home flight simulations. Pre-orders begin on the 8th of October at 10 am (UTC+8) on all regional sites for €81.55 or £87.50. Free shipping is included on all regional sites, but not the global shipping site.
