FlightSim Studio AG has shared a project status update covering its current development work for the first half of 2026. The update includes information on the Embraer E-Jets, Boeing 727 v2, Tecnam P2012 Traveller v2, and Tecnam P2006T v2.
The developer stated that recent work has focused on aircraft systems, tools, workflows, platform changes, and future project planning. According to FSS, part of this work is visible in the aircraft, while other parts relate to systems and development processes.

Embraer E-Jets
FlightSim Studio states that the E-Jets are close to being feature complete for version 1.0. Most of the planned functionality for the 1.0 release has either been implemented or is in an advanced stage.
Two areas remain in focus before the 1.0 milestone – WASM crashes and autopilot behavior. FSS said it has decided not to continue modifying the existing autopilot implementation. Instead, the developer is rewriting the autopilot logic from the ground up.
The new autopilot is being developed without dependency on the default Microsoft Flight Simulator autopilot logic. FSS said this approach gives the team more control over aircraft behavior and may allow the same foundation to be used in future projects.

Once the autopilot work is completed and tested, FSS expects to consider the E-Jets v1.0 milestone complete. After that, the developer plans to focus on a native Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 version.
Boeing 727 v2
FlightSim Studio has also started work on a new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 version of the Boeing 727. According to the update, the project is not planned as a compatibility update only. The new version is expected to include new textures, an updated 3D model, and technical changes.
FSS also plans to add the ADV version with auxiliary tanks. This version is expected to become the base for the Super 27. The developer has not provided a release timeline for the Boeing 727 v2. FSS said work has started, but the project is not yet ready for a release window.

Tecnam P2012 Traveller v2
The Tecnam P2012 Traveller v2 is taking longer than planned. FSS said the update was expanded to include the VIP version, which was announced at AERO Friedrichshafen. The aircraft includes several Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 features, including the native EFB, walkaround mode, partial career mode compatibility, 3D passengers, and cargo types.
FSS stated that the P2012 v2 is planned to include passenger, cargo, VIP, special mission, and skydiver versions. All versions are being developed as native Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 aircraft.
Tecnam P2006T v2
FlightSim Studio confirmed that the Tecnam P2006T is planned to receive a v2 update in the future. The developer said the P2012 is currently being used as a testbed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 features and workflows. Once that foundation is complete, similar improvements are planned for the P2006T. No release timeline was provided for the P2006T v2.
