FSReborn has released its rendition of the Embraer Phenom 300E for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing the popular light business jet to the platform with a focus on realistic operations, detailed systems, and interactive features.
Developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the aircraft makes use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) flight modelling and aims to replicate the handling and performance characteristics of the real-world jet. According to FSReborn, the flight model was developed with feedback from type-rated Phenom 300E pilots.
Modern Avionics and Systems
The aircraft features an implementation of the Garmin G3000-based Prodigy Touch avionics suite, allowing pilots to manage navigation, flight planning, and aircraft systems through touchscreen controllers and large cockpit displays.
Integration with both SimBrief and Navigraph is included, enabling users to import flight plans and access charts directly within the aircraft. FSReborn has also modelled a range of aircraft systems, including custom engine and pressurisation logic, to provide a more in-depth operating experience.
Focus on Immersion
Beyond the cockpit, the developer has added a variety of interactive elements designed to enhance immersion. Users can operate multiple aircraft doors and interact with ground equipment, while dedicated ground operation features simulate passenger boarding, baggage handling, and refuelling procedures.
For those looking for an even more hands-on experience, the aircraft includes a manual refuelling mode that allows users to operate the external refuelling panel themselves.
A passenger simulation system has also been included. Passenger comfort can be affected by factors such as cabin conditions, turbulence, and landing quality, adding another consideration during flight operations.
Showcase Video Released
Alongside the launch, FSReborn published a showcase video highlighting many of the aircraft’s interactive features. The video provides a closer look at the cabin, animated passengers, opening doors, and several of the ground service functions included with the package.
