MOZA Racing Opens Pre-Orders for FFB Stick Base and More

 

Popular sim racing peripheral manufacturer MOZA racing is entering the flight sim market with its new AB9 Force Feedback Stick Base, MH16 Flightsick, and Z-Axis Module. Following the success of their reveal at FSExpo 2024, the manufacturer has opened up pre-orders for these products, with shipments starting July 31st, 2024.

MOZA AB9 FFB Base

The AB9 Force Feedback stick base uses MOZA’s Force Feedback Algorithms to offer an authentic feel that simulates the forces on the control surfaces of aircraft and the weight of the controls. It features two motors with 9Nm of constant torque and 12Nm of peak torque. The forces of these motors and other options can be fine-tuned using MOZA’s cockpit control software. The stick offers a high-quality aluminum alloy construction and high-resolution encoders, which are capable of handling very precise control inputs.

The AB9 FFB Base retails for $549 USD, โ‚ฌ 599.00 EUR, or ยฃ549.00 GBP.

MOZA MH16 Flightsick

The MH16 Flightsick replicates the look of classic fighter aircraft sticks, and is also made of the same high-quality aluminum alloys as the FFB Base. It features an 8-way hat switch and many buttons, some of which can be detached thanks to its modular components. It’s designed to be compatible not only with MOZA’s own FFB base, but also others on the market.

The MH16 Flightstick retails for $169 USD, โ‚ฌ189 EUR, or ยฃ169 GBP.

MOZA Z-Axis Module

The Z-Axis Module is an extension kit that raises the stick from the base by 97mm and adds a twisting rudder control with a ยฑ20ยฐ range that can be locked in case it isn’t needed. It features the same high-quality aluminum construction as the other products and has a long-lasting, high-resolution Hall-effect sensor for the yaw axis. As with the MH16, the Z-Axis module is designed to be compatible with other stick bases on the market.
