We are happy to report that PMDG has launched update v2.00.0037 for the 777-300ER as of July 11th, 2024. The update aims at stability issues and improvements to the geometry of the aircraft, as well as sounds.

Addressing issues after Sim Update 15
If you own the PMDG 777 addon, you probably know that the most recent Sim Update 15 has caused quite a bit of instability problems for this addon. Before the update, behavior of different systems in the cockpit, such as ACARS, which could start acting unusually, or the virtual cockpit was freezing once in a while.
There have also been reports of issues with lighting, texture and tile problems, and even problems with the sounds of the interior cabin looping. This update addresses those issues and introduces new engine sounds while patching sounds related to the APU, AI traffic and engines.
According to the team, these issues were caused by the update’s increased sensitivity to certain parts of the code. Interestingly, the update revealed issues in both the 777 and the 737.
The PMDG 777-300ER is one of the most popular releases by the PMDG team that we have seen in a while. Its popularity is unprecedented throughout the Microsoft Flight Simulator community, and the PMDG team has worked endlessly to correct the issues unmasked by Sim Update 15.

This update is expected to roll out this week. Another update will also rectify texture issues on the DC-6 Cloudmaster, a classic piston-powered airliner from the late 1940s, improving texture clarity on dials, gauges and placards inside the virtual cockpit.
Another minor update for the 777 will also be released next week. This update seeks to fix issues with the Universal Flight Tablet not updating data from Navigraph.
